Refills are for suitable existing medicines; your clinician decides the supply. Three-month refills and MedDirect need confirmed enrolment and clinical approval.

Clinic prices shown are for non-ACC care; other ages, CSC and weekend rates differ. CareNow prices cover its common-condition menu. Your pharmacy supplies medicines and charges separately. Separately booked appointments have their own fees. MedDirect may also have pharmacy and rural delivery charges. See clinic fees ↗

Before you join

Who may
benefit most?

Living near Christchurch or Selwyn

Online care, with a nearby clinic for examinations, procedures and face-to-face appointments.

Living elsewhere, with mainly virtual needs

Online care and local blood tests. WeCare must confirm a safe local plan for hands-on or urgent care.

Stable ongoing conditions

Your condition and medicines are stable, with follow-up suited to online care and planned blood tests.

Usually well, but value quick access

Affordable online care when an occasional health problem comes up.

Joining means choosing WeCare as your regular general practice.

You can enrol with only one general practice/PHO at a time. Your previous PHO enrolment will end. Outside Christchurch and Selwyn, a local GP may suit you better if you often need examinations, procedures or complex in-person care. WeCare confirms your eligibility and suitability.

Good to know

Your questions,
answered.

Can I use Quindlee without joining WeCare?

Yes. Keep your GP and use Standard care. Your first eligible approved consultation is free, once per account including dependants. Later consultations are $29.90. You choose whether to share each approved summary with your usual practice.

Are my dependants covered by my enrolment?

Each dependant needs their own WeCare PHO enrolment. Add them to your account, complete their form and confirm enrolment. Enrolled under-14 consultations are free.

Do I pay if online care is not approved?

No. Any fee is authorised when you submit and charged only if a clinician approves care. Your agreed price stays with that consultation, even if membership changes. Medicines and pharmacy charges may be extra.

What if enrolment is not confirmed?

Standard pricing applies from that point. Future consultations cost $29.90. WeCare may invoice an earlier provisional discount difference. You receive an emailed warning and at least 7 days to complete enrolment before any recovery charge. Your card is never silently debited.

How do the introductory offers work?

Your first free Quindlee consultation and MedDirect’s coming-soon trial are separate offers, each once per account including dependants. The older 30-day Member trial is closed to new starts; existing trials keep their recorded end date, with no automatic charge.
